saw buckethead with my friend Hans and his neigbor Joey. was fucking deliteful. got there at about 6:00, theater opened doors at 8:00, there were a few people in buckethead costumes n shit.
Wolff (opening one man band):
when we got in, we had to wait a fuckin hour and a half for the opening guy to get on stage, and it fucking sucked cuz i was in the second row and i didnt wanna loose my place and i had a bad fuckin intestinal ache from when i had the weedmunchies and ate a fuckload of dumplings. my legs and spine fuckin hurt for standing in a 1 foot square space for about 5 hours. so the dude finally came out, called "Wolf". this dude in a Mo-Hawk who played really trippy shit with just a tuba and a mixing machine. he would band on the tuba, with different objects, and do different beats, then mix them into his machine and speakers and then loop them, right on the spot, then he would do this trippy shit with the effects buttons and do trippy trancy hindooey chanting into the tuba and do trippy shit with his voice, and blow distorted trippy notes into the tuba and it was fuckin awesome. the bass speakers were so powerfull that my organs rumbled!
then we stood there for another hour or so then buckethead finally came out. if only i was still high!

buckethead was fucking awesome! he played all my favorite songs! like even ones that i thought only I liked, ones he doesnt normally do live like "Buckethead's Toystore" and "Welcome to Bucketheadland" and "Ghost Host". he played all his really good ones, like Jordan, the ones i mentioned, Night of the Slunk, Soothesayer, etc..along with a few of his new tunes. i was fucking blown away! he is fucking amazing live. i will never forget that night!
he did a cool thing where he brought out his nunchukkas and played with those then put on big giant foam "number 1" sports fan gloves and did robot dancing then he karate kicked down one of the statues he had set up for decoration. then he handed out toys out of a great big bag to the crowd. and i felt like a dick cuz i didnt know there was a kid in a wheel chair behind me, and buckethead was throwing out toys and he threw this one bloody halloween mask to me but i soon figured out it was meant to land to the wheelchair kid and i intercepted it outa the air, but i pretended not to notice and everyone around gave me evil looks but fuck them. but now i have a mask that buckethead touched!!!!!!

the show was like 3 hours away though in townston maryland, and we brought some weed with us but i only got to smoke a few hits in the parking garage, while both friends got to smoke all the way there! i was the designated driver and when i was gonna smoke more some golf cart dude drove up to our level of parking garage and i thought it was security so we bailed then ate a SHITLOAD of dumplings from some chinese place, then before show started i went into an actual heavy metal record store down the street! it was fuckin crazy cuz i didnt know there was one around till some dude pulled up in his car to give us some paper for some missing girl he knew that saied "wanted", etc. and he saw my friend had a shirt that looked like an Emperor shirt and he said emperor was awesome then my friend didnt know wtf he talkin about so i chased him in his car and i talked to him some more about emperor cuz i never met anyone else who listened to black metal! then i said i was hoping to get Emperor's "anthems to the welken at dusk" and he told me there was a nerdy comic store that had a small heavy metal and punk rock back room!
I WAS IN FUCKIN HEAVEN WHEN I WENT THERE! they had all kinds of shit one would typically only find at Hells Headbangers! like Dismember and Leviathan and Possessed and Venom and Sodom and D.R.I.!!! so i picked up Obsessed by Cruelty by Sodom and Evil in the Night by Merciless Death and Xasthur/Leviathan Split!!! i had never even seen a metal shop and who knew there was a record store right down the street!
the show was awesome! i got to see buckethead and keep a mask that he touched!!!
after the show, i picked up a buckethead album, the new "Albino Slug" CD, and a buckethead T shirt. Hans got a CD by Wolff, the guy who opened for him. fucking trippy shit.
then we got lost in the city for about an hour then got outa there and got back at 2 in the morning! and i had fucking school the next day!
